Bob Gilhooley Art

Born in 1946 in Henley on Thames, Bob Gilhooley was always good at art in school, but was never encouraged. After earning a living and raising a family as a garage proprietor; in his forties Bob sold the business and became a hotelier. He came back to art in the late 1990s not being interested in football or golf as a hobby.

Although not formally trained at art college. He was keenly encouraged and tutored by several professional west midlands artists. Favoring Landscape, Seascape, Wild Life and Floral Painting in the mediums of watercolour, gouache and oils.

With many private commissions and sales, he is getting a reputation for Cotswold views and animal paintings.
